Improvements

Showing zero-value Pay Items to Employees

Config > Payroll > Pay Items

We’ve added the ability to select whether a Pay Item with a $0 YTD and $0 pay should be shown to Employees on their Pay Slips and Self Service (ESS) portal.

Each Pay Item now has the option to ‘Show this pay item to employees when the value is zero’. When you create a new Pay Item, this will not be checked.

Pay Slips: Upon checking this option, Pay Items will be shown to Employees on Pay Slips when they are paid for any number of units in this pay, even when the value is $0.00; or when they were previously paid units but the YTD for the Pay Item is $0.00.

ESS: Upon checking this option, Pay Items will be shown to Employees in their Self Service portal when they have been paid any number of units during the year, but the YTD for the Pay Item is $0.00.

There is no action required on your part in this release. All existing Pay Items will be unchecked by default, maintaining current behavior.
