Automating management of public holidays in leave requests

There have also been regular bug fixes and performance improvements. If you have reported any bugs that have been resolved in this release you will be notified by the Client Services team directly.


Public Holidays on Leave Requests

If you have Holiday Groups (Config > Payroll > Holiday Groups) enabled, these public holidays will now appear on leave requests and on leave approval emails.  

When you make a leave request, the system will automatically exclude any public holiday.

If leave is added on a day that is a public holiday, a confirmation message will appear on submission.  There will also be a notice in the leave approval email, and a further confirmation required by the Leave Approver to ensure this is correct.

Please contact Client Services to enable Holiday Groups within your portal, or to assist with configuration.
